Cadets from Sainik School Nagrota delivered an impressive performance at the All India IPSC Athletics Championship 2024, hosted by Punjab Public School, Nabha, from 3rd to 7th November. Competing among some of the nation’s elite schools, the Nagrota cadets showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship, returning with medals and high placements in various track and field events.The school’s contingent of 20 cadets faced stiff competition from renowned institutions such as The Doon School, YPS Mohali, Daly College Indore, Welham Boys, and Motilal Nehru Sports School, Rai. Sainik School Nagrota cadets emerged victorious in several events, bringing pride to their institution with the following notable achievements:
3000 meter Run : Cadet Vibhum Pandey clinched the Gold, with Cadet Raghav Chib finishing 4th.
High Jump: Cadet Shubham Sudan claimed the Gold medal.
Cross Country : Cadet Raghav Chib won the Gold medal.
110 meters Hurdles: Cadet Priyanshu secured 4th place.
800 meter Run : Cadet Vibhum Pandey won the Silver medal, and Cadet Shaurya Prathap Singh secured 4th place.
Hammer Throw: Cadet Upkar Shukla won the Bronze medal.
These achievements underscore the rigorous training, dedication, and resilience that Sainik School Nagrota instills in its cadets.
