In the recently declared result of Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad Student Council Elections 2019 in MIT SOG Pune, Sanjay Thakur elected as coordinator of Jammu and Kashmir.
Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (BCS) sensitize and harness the power of socially active & politically sensitive students from all over in India.
Sanjay Thakur, hails from Village Bhatoli Bhalessa, District Doda of Jammu and Kashmir State and comes from a non-political background.
He started his career as a student activist and also has been the state General Secretary of NSUI Jammu and Kashmir.
BCS Connect Politically and Socially active youth of India on one platform for the common purpose of strengthening democracy and to inculcate a national vision.
BCS to aim to raise the extent of sensitivity, awareness, involvement, responsiveness, access and say of youth in political and democratic processes so that a healthy democratic system is evolved to produce competent public leaders and policy makers, from the grassroots and from all walks of life All the resolutions passed at the annual national conclave are complied as the ‘Declaration’ of the Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad and are submitted to the relevant policy making bodies of union and state governments. The resolutions are also submitted to the United Nations and UNESCO for their cognizance.
Meanwhile Prakash Singh Dadwal NSUI State Vice President Jammu and Kashmir congratulated Sanjay and said that It’s such a privilege to whole students community especially of J&K. “Our team wish him for a successful tenure and hope that he will work hard in favour of students community.” Dadwal added.
