Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, Vice President, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has condemned the killing of Nayeem Ahmed Shah Resident of Qilla Mohalla from Bhaderwah in Doda district who was shot dead at around 2am by unknown gunmen.
Mr. Saroori said the vicious cycle of death and destruction seems to have no end in the Chenab Valley and said there is no place for such violence in any part of the county. I hope the residents of the area will cooperate with the administration and maintain calm.
He has urged Governor Satya Pal Malik and his administration to review the safety and security aspects of all Political Leaders, Sarpanches and people living in erstwhile Doda District.
He has also urged the K Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor and Police department to ensure early arrest of those responsible for the killing and spare no one who so ever tries to create fear and panic among the people.
Expressing grief over the tragic loss of life, Mr. Saroori in a condolence message has prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in its hour of grief beside this place for the departed soul in heaven.
Earlier Mr. Saroori visited various areas including Jakyas, Bathri, Kahara and Thathri areas & met with party workers. He listened the grievances and assured that their genuine demands will be addressed in a time bond manner on priority.
