Suffocated by the BJP’s policy of duplicity, deceit and betrayal besides its hollow promises, Mr. Vinoo Jamwal Sr. BJP youth leader along with several sarpanches and supporters left BJP and joined Panthers party in the presence of Mr. Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP in Jammu today. Meanwhile, in a press conference, the youth leader lambasted the Saffron party for alluring the voters with its tall slogans during the elections and later leaving them in lurch with all trumpeted rants turning into mere rhetoric.
Coming down ferociously on the BJP for suppressing the voice of youth of Jammu region, Mr. Vinoo Jamwal lambasted the slogans of ‘Achey Din’ sold by the Saffron brigade with a big bang as a illusionary mirage shown to the youth for vote bank politics. He said that thousand of crores of rupees had been incurred only to woo the young voters as these ‘jumlas’ had failed to make an virtual impact on the ground. He flayed the Saffron brigade for treating them like ‘disposables’ and putting their future in jeopardy.”The memories of frequent lathi charge on underemployed educated youth including women protesting for their legitimate rights under BJP’s rule were still fresh in our minds. BJP shall pay for its political sins. The recent poll results of 5 states speak about its failure to deliver. Same will be the fate of Saffron party in J&K as well”, Jamwal asserted. He said all the BJP’s schemes which were propagated with great fanfare have miserably flopped and failed to provide succor to the people.
Asserting that development had come to grinding halt in Ramnagar in the last four years, he said that there was no comparison to the works done by Mr. Harsh Dev Singh in his constituency. “During his tenure, roads were constructed and stretched to every nook and corner in Ramnagar bringing all villages together. Several schools, colleges besides University campus were sanctioned. People still say that the classrooms were brought to the doorsteps of the poor who lacked access to education. Health care facilities were improved with no shortage of water and power supply. Justice was overtly delivered. Those were the real Good Days”, he said. He said that BJP only duped and cajoled the voters and Ramnagar while the local ex-MLA made fortunes and callously ignored the interests of the people.
Welcoming the new entrants in the party fold, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh said that Central and Kashmir based parties including BJP, Congress, NC and PDP had marginalized entire Jammu province for the sake of power in the past 70 years. “They had perpetuated discrimination to Dogras and Paharis in all spheres to the extent where our pristine identity was facing severe crisis. Only Panthers Party has emerged as a lone force of the people in the present scenario whose wave was sweeping the entire Jammu region by storm.We shall restore our pride and honour at all costs”, Harsh roared. While lauding the decision of the youth to join NPP, Mr. Singh asked the new entrants to propagate the Party’s agenda of “Statehood for Jammu region” to the grass root level. He lamented that during the Saffron rule the ruffians, vandals, hooligans and illiterates were glorified in Kashmir while the highly educated nationalist youth of Jammu region were discriminated, exploited, suppressed and quelled. “Teach unforgettable lesson to the BJP in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections”, exhorted Harsh.
