Indian Army organised a lecture on ‘Say No to Drugs’ at Gambhir Brahmana on 30 Jun 2024. The main aim of the event was to focus on educating young individuals about the perils and outcomes of drug misuse. This campaign had the objectives of advocating preventive measures, delivering crucial information and support to those impacted by substance abuse, reducing the stigma linked to addiction and urging young people to reach out for assistance when necessary. The campaign provides precise insight into various drug types, their effects on the human body, signs of addiction and available resources for treatment and support. Awam of the village highly appreciated Army’s efforts to conduct the lecture on ‘Drug Abuse’ and also to create awareness among the local youth. They also pledged to extend their whole hearted support for the noble cause. The event was attended by 97 civilians.
