Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gool Imtiaz today convened a meeting to review the progress of ongoing works under Public Works Department (PWD) and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in the Sub-Division. The meeting was attended by AEE PMGSY & PWD Sub-Division Gool along with all Assistant Engineers (AEs) and Junior Engineers (JEs). The SDM reviewed the physical progress of the roads, buildings and bridges being executed by PWD and PMGSY. He asked for proper maintenance of all roads, particularly focusing on the drainage system. JEs were directed to carry out daily monitoring of roads with special emphasis on adopting road safety measures. Targets were also fixed for the timely completion of major bridges on the Jaman–Kalimasta road. Keeping in view the tough terrain and prevailing weather advisories, all staff members were instructed to ensure roads remain clear, functional, and properly maintained.
