SABS Foundation today organized a function to pay tributes to the Martyrs of Pulwama and Shaheed DSP Aman Thakur at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk Jammu. In this function many organization representing different walks of life participated and paid floral tributes to the martyrs include Jammu Pragati Manch,Freedom fighters Association, Jammu Kashmir Sangram Sena, Kranti Dal, Rani Mandir Residents Wefare Commiittee , Chand Nagar Mohall Welfare committee and Jewel Bazar Shopkeepers Association. Dr. Taran Singh President Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation hwile Presenting tributes said that terrorists must be dealt with iron fist. He said that DSP Aman Thakur attained martyrdom while saving the life of Army officers at encounter site.
He lead many encounters with terrorists. He said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh that was against the use of gun to achieve Kranti . He added that Shaheed Bhagat Singh was of the opinion that “Kranti ki Talwar Vicharon ki Saan par hi tez ki ja Sakti hai”. He asked terrorists to join main stream and shun the path of violence otherwise Indian forces will kill all of you. Speaking on the occasion Dr. S.P. Varma Padamshree President Gandhi Global Family said that through violence nothing can be achieved. Sh. Brij Mehra President Freedom Fighters Association said that all political parties to shun their differences fight together against anti national elements.
He further added previous governments for the sake of their pretty political interest never did justice with martyrs of the land. He demanded from the Governor of state to take appropriate stricked action against pro terrorism employees working with J&K government to contain the terrorism in the state effectively.
Present amoung others include Advocate Kamal Gupta , Sh. Swarn Singh Chib also paid floral tributes to the martyrs.
