POONCH, Sept 07:
To spread the game of volleyball to nook and corners of the district, Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club presented sports material (nets and balls) to a local club at Chandak.
The sports material was handed by chairman of the Manjit Club, Mohd Tariq to members of Shaheed Mumtaz Memorial Volleyball Club Chandak.
“It becomes our responsibility to spread the game by way of helping those promising clubs. Being one of the top clubs in J&K, it is the endeavour of the Shaheed Manjit Club to help others grow and excel,” Mohd Tariq told SAN.
Mohd Tariq is coach and father of only international spiker from J&K, Saqlain Tariq, who came all the way from remote district of Poonch to play for the country.
