Shakti Udghosh Foundation concluded its weeklong awareness campaign “Know Your system”. Shakti Udghosh foundation started this campaign to educate and aware young students of various colleges, universities and institutes about their political system. The campaign focused on creating awareness among the youngsters about the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and also to assess their knowledge about the democratic structure of the country.Ms Preeti Choudhary Convenor of Shakti Udghosh Foundation anchored all the programs conducted at GGM Science College, Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & research, GCOE, Govt College for women Parade, MIET, PSPS Pg College for women Gandhi Nagar and IIMC campus. The campaign covered all the important yet basic concepts related to elections and political system of the country. Main Aim of the campaign was to aware voters to cast their vote for larger participation. Quiz based program was conducted in every college wherein questions like MCC,EVM,NOTA and alliances were asked. Large number of students participated in this campaign which commenced from JIAR institute and concluded at MIET. The program was Coordinated by NSS Units of every college as an activity under SVEEP. The digital and electronic coverage of the program was supported by JK Fact News and their Team including Mr Pardeep Jamwal and Rakesh Khajuria Ji. Program is telecasted on the digital platform of JK fact as Episodes of the Know Your system Series. The event saw vibrant engagement from numerous students, who eagerly participated in a quiz competition under the adept coordination of Ms. Preeti Choudhary, students were enlightened on diverse facets of SVEEP. Prof. Jyoti Parihar, Prof S.P Saraswat, Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Dr Nitin Gupta, Prof Anil Saumitra, Principals of the college applauded the efforts of Shakti udghosh Foundation and JK Fact for bringing out such a unique program emphasizing the importance of civic engagement. Dr. Neha Sharma, Dr Gurpreet, Dr Shubra, Dr Aarushi NSS POs played a pivotal role in mobilizing student participation for this impactful event.
