Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, is all set to step into the world of cinema with her debut film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. While the aspiring actor has been in the public eye for years due to her star lineage, Shanaya acknowledges that her fame came much before her first film – a reality she has come to terms with in her own way.In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Shanaya reflected on the unique path she has taken, admitting that the attention, scrutiny, and expectations that come with being a star kid have shaped her. “Honestly, I think that whatever my journey has been till now, it has taught me a lot,” she said. “Fame comes with the pressure, and sometimes with criticism. I have taken it all positively, as feedback. I’ve learned from it, grown from it.”Shanaya stated that her journey to the big screen has not been instant or effortless. “It’s been a journey of its own to be here today. I think everything happened for a reason. Everything is the way it’s supposed to be for something heartfelt to happen,” she added, visibly emotional about her long-awaited debut. “I’m happy, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed.”
