PDD Daily wagers held a protest cum demonstration here on Monday to press their demands under the leadership of President, Akhil Sharma.
While talking to press Akhil Sharma said that the wages of daily wagers are pending for last couple of months and urged and stressed to concerning authorities of PDD department to early release the pending wages in favor of 3405 need base casual labourers without further delay ,otherwise the mass agitation will be started soon and responsible will be concerning PDD officers.
He also condemned the step motherly treatment with these workers by department.
He stressed for early release of pending payments, process of implementation of SRO 520 be started and also demands for implementation of SRO 381 of PDD.
Others who were spoke on the occasion included Asish Verma, Kabir, Bashir Ahmd, Sher Singh,Niaz, Anil Kumar, Gurmail Singh, Sham Lal, Bilal Ahmd, Rakesh Kumar Mohd Sawar, Juned and Sunny.
