Sharma visits block Palmar in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, JUNE 16-
Minister for Power, Sunil Kumar Sharma accompanied by DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today visited Block Palmar of district Kishtwar to finalize the land for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya to be opened in the area.
During the visit, the Minister after on-spot inspection gives nod to the already identified land and directed the authorities for speedy completion of formalities so as to serve the purpose within a stipulated period of time.
While interacting with the locals of the area, the Minister congratulated the people for getting Navodaya Vidyalaya. It will definitely boom the education sector, not even of the said block but would be beneficial for whole Chenab Valley, he said adding that institutions like JNV are premium and has produced exceptional results throughout the country in terms of providing quality education.
While on the tour, the Minister also inaugurated Animal Husbandry Department’s trial centre which will facilitate the locals for serving various purposes like Artificial insemination and Cattle health related issues thus fulfilling the long pending demand of the locals.
The Minister said that the blacktopping of Kishtwar-Palmar road up to Dangdooru Dacchan is underway and will be completed by the end of this year.
