Sharvari has been receiving immense love and appreciation for her performance in her recent film, Vedaa, which also stars John Abraham in a pivotal role. Just days after the release, she shared an intense video showcasing her boxing prep journey on her social media revealing the kind of extensive physical training and transformation she had to undergo to play the titular character in this Nikkhil Advani directorial. She wrote, “7 months of boxing prep. 2 hours daily for 6 days a week. Countless muscle pulls. Rehab. Back to the grind… again… ???? No shortcuts. Eyes on the prize ?? #MondayMotivation #Vedaa”. In the past too, Sharvari mentioned about the immense dedication and hard work she has invested in the film in order to perfect her action skills. The film definitely marks a significant step in her career as she also prepares for her upcoming project, Alpha along with Alia Bhatt, an addition to YRF’s Spy Universe, known for its high-octane action and gripping storylines. Meanwhile, Vedaa features the story of an aspiring boxer who has to deal with the society’s prejudices and stereotypes related to the caste system that is still prevalent in many parts of rural India. John Abraham plays Abhimanyu in the film, who is a former military officer but takes on the role of Vedaa’s mentor and will go to any lengths to help her achieve her dream. Also starring Abhishek Banerjee as the lead antagonist, the film has Tamannaah Bhatia in a sweet but pivotal cameo. The film released in cinemas on August 15 alongside Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein.
