SHIKSHA NIKETAN SR. SEC SCHOOL organized a function to celebrate CHILDREN’S DAY on 14th Nov, 2018 in its premises to pay tribute to Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of our country on his 130th birthday as he was one of the greatest national leader of India. The main attraction of the function was the BAL MELA there organized in a fantastic manner as creating the atmosphere of a market fair.
The GUESTS invited for the occasion were MR. Pawan singh (Corporator Satwari) Mr. Chandar Mohan Gupta (Corporator Shakti Nagar ) The other dignitaries of sister concern of Shiksha Niketan were also invited as the guests. The school was beautifully decorated by the handmade creative materials depicting the theme Golden jubilee year celebration for the occasion of Children’s Day.
The inauguration of the Mela was done by the worthy Guests along with sh. Rameshwar mengi (worthy Principal of the school) Several items were there to be presented and the programme was commenced with the lightening of the traditional lamp followed by a beautiful Vandhana presented by the teachers of Pushp Vatika. Then a beautiful dogri dance performance was performed by the teachers of Primary Wing and one more wonderful dance performance on a Punjabi song was performed by the teachers of Middle and High wing.
There was the arrangement of the talent hunt games in which the students of all the classes participated and proved themselves to be the genius in different talents. The whole programme of BAL MELA was done in a very systematic manner. Different stalls of Delicious eatables and games were there. The students enjoyed a lot in the Mela there by singing, dancing and playing different games. The winners were given fabulous prizes. All the stalls of different eatables were organized in a proper hygienic conditions. There was no mess of anything, anywhere.
The whole programme was carried under the supervision of the concerned incharges, teachers working under the instructions of the authorities.
Both the guests appreciated the school for its achievements in all the fields and also encouraged the students to carry on further with same spirit and creativity. He also appreciated the management of the school for organizing such programmes which boosted the children to come up with new talents.
SH. RAMESH WAR MENGI, the Principal of the school threw light on t he importance of the day and also praised the students for their efforts and the Team of the coordinators to make the programme a great success.
