Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K unit on Tuesday urged upon the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to bring an ordinance to scrap Articles 370 and 35A.
Led by Dimpy Kohli State President and Raj Singh State Secretary, Raju Salaria, Mangu Ram, the activists assembled at SIDCO Chowk, Bari Brahmana and raised slogans in support of their demands. Kohli said that if ordinance can be brought for amendment in Section (1) of Article 370, then it shows that BJP is scared of completely scraping Art 370.
Shiv Sena leaders demanded strong action against the Kashmiri leaders supporting separatists. They demanded that there should be one constitution and one flag for the entire country.
Kohli said that whenever India takes a tough stand against Pakistan the leaders of Kashmir start chanting peace talks.
“It is necessary to remove Articles 370 and 35-A to cope with country’s most dreaded enemies active in Kashmir.
“Leaders of NC and PDP are expressing concern over a handful of separatists and Hurriyat leaders but where were they when 300,000 Kashmiri Pandits were thrown out from Kashmir,” they said.
“If Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah really want to fulfil the dreams of the people of Jammu & Kashmir struggling for Abrogation of Articles 370 & 35A then they must first abrogate it. It is because of this article that the rules and regulations imposed in other states in India cannot be implemented in the State of Jammu and Kashmir,”
Ganesh Lal, Sunil Kumar, Vicky Kumar and Sourav Kumar were also joined the protest.
