Pitching for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Shiv Sena on Thursday said the issue should not become as complicated as the Kashmir matter, which is still awaiting resolution.
Briefing media persons here, Dimpy Kohli, State President of the Shiv Sena, J&K unit along with Manish Sahni General Secretary hailed an editorial published in ‘Saamana’ stating that “The construction of Ram temple should not become as complicated as that of Jammu and Kashmir, where no solution is in sight in near future.”
Kohli held BJP Government at the Center responsible for the delaying in construction of Ram Mandir in Ajodhya.
Kohli expressed surprised over that why RSS leaders were not holding the BJP leaders accountable for the delay in temple construction, instead of targeting judges hearing the case. The BJP should stop pointing fingers at the Congress for halting the temple construction, he added.
Kohli asked BJP Government to fulfill it poll promises regarding construction of Ram Mandir at Ajodhya.
He informed that Uddhav Thackeray has already warned BJP Government to pave the way for a Ram Temple or forget about forming the next government.
“Uddhav Thackeray made it clear that Shiv Sainiks have the courage to construct Ram Temple in Ajodhya alone if the Central Government led by BJP at the Centre is failed to do it,” Kohli informed.
“Shiv Sena felt that the BJP had used the Ram Temple issue before every election only to grab power,” Kohli said.
The Shiv Sena said it was still firm on its demand for bringing an ordinance for the temple construction.
Kohli asked the BJP government not to make lame excuses for its failure to enact a pro-temple law. He said that the Shiv Sena will not allow BJP Government to play with the sentiments of Hindu community and will never compromise on the construction of Ram Mandir in Ajodhya.
