JAMMU, June 23:
After her Gold in Speed, international climber of J&K, Shivani Charak secured Silver medal in women’s Bouldering event on the third day of IMF All India Lead and Bouldering competition being organized by IMF East Zone Committee at Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling. Prateeksha, an international climber from Bangaluru won the gold medal in this event. Ajay Deep Singh, who had won two gold medals in the last All India competition held at IMF, Delhi, could not repeat his performance in this competition. He was tied at the fifth place with Arun Deep Singh in the semifinals in Lead climbing competition in the Boys category. Arun Deep finished sixth. Both Arun Deep and Ajay Deep Singh have also entered the final round in Bouldering competition by securing first and sixth place respectively in the semi finals.
