Shooters work hard at Katra Camp

KATRA (Reasi), Oct 01:
Selected shooters continue to work hard in the ongoing a 10-day long coaching camp, organised jointly by J&K Rifle Association and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), here today.
“These young shooters are undergoing intensive and extensive training with the aim to learn basic and advance skills to match and overcome the opponents during the upcoming Nationals,” said camp director, Ashok Kumar, who is also Director Sports SMVDSB.
Earlier, on the eighth day of the ongoing camp, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Shirne Board, Anshul Garg and Commandant 6th Bn of the CRPF, Jitendra Kumar Gupta interacted with the campers.
The camp is being held under the guidance of shooting coach of J&K Police, Rajesh Virdhi and N
K Tiwari of the Shrine Board, who is on deputation from the CRPF.
“These campers are being taught various aspects of the game of shooting. From body posture to physical fitness and consistency to perfection, these young boys and girls are prepared to score points against equally good opponent,” further said Ashok Kumar.
