A young filmmaking team (R S Charak Films) from Jammu made a creative and innovative Short Film ‘Jammu Ka Vishvaas’ to highlight the social stigma through very powerful visual message.
The film story poetically weaves social message with Entertainment, Humour and Drama. Very well Written and Directed by 19-year-old R S Charak, story of ‘Jammu Ka Vishvaas’ revolves around a rag- picker, who unconsciously spread the message to society and works like a mirror to the society to show what they are doing, where rumours led the new way of thinking.
Along with wonderful storyline they used creative filmmaking and cinematography skills and techniques which raise the level of filmmaking in the state. Director also stated that it takes hard work and dedication of whole crew to turn his vision into the film and as independent production it’s very difficult to give best of their craft as they have very limited resources, but he feels lucky to have such a dedicated team.
Charak while addressing the press conference informed that the length of movie is 22 minutes and it will be released on Internet platforms on May 29. The entire film is shot in Jammu city and its outskirts, depict gloomy picture society and influence of self-centric politicians media on day to day live.
Other who contributed in movie making were actors Jaiveer Manhas, Sunil Charak, Amit Jain and Vinod Shavotra, with hardworking crew of Arjun Verma; Assistant Director and Production manager, Janu Verma -production Designer and Makeover artist, Krish Rajwal- DOP, Aryaveer Manhas, Paramjeet Singh-Music Director and Ishant Mahajan-Production Sponsor.
The Filmmakers also thanked Jammu and Kashmir Police, Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu, BJP leader Kr. Rajeev Charak, Ishant Gupta, Vicky Venus and other people of Jammu for providing valuable and timely support for completing the film.
