A team from State Health Society NHM J&K conducted a 2 day tour of District Doda to ascertain the implementation of Health programs and Patient care services in Health Institutions.
“On the directions of Mission Director NHM J&K, Nazim Zai Khan, the team headed by Program Manager NHM J&K Dr Nazir Ahmed Dar along with Associate Programme Manager Dr Imtiyaz Shakeel Baba, undertook the visit to review, discuss the implementation of the National Health Programmes being run under the National Health Mission in the district and to bring rapid improvement in key performance indicators in a time bound manner” the NHM J&K said.
On the first day, the visiting team held a meeting at CMO Office Doda which was attended by Chief Medical Officer Dr Om Kumar; DIO Dr Versha Sharma and District Programme Management Unit NHM.
The visiting team held detailed deliberations on NHM programmes besides reviewing the functioning of DPMU NHM Unit of the district.
Later a meeting of the same nature was also held at AH GMC Doda, which was attended by MS GMC Doda and NHM Staff.
The team also visited different health facilities in the district which includes AH GMC Doda, AAM SC Dudhote, AAM SC Dranga, AAM SC Drudhu and SDH Bhaderwah.
The visiting team along with other health functionaries interacted with the staff and reviewed the functioning of all health programmes and services being provided to the community.
Taking review of key issues, the Team advised the health staff on various measures and improvements to be adopted in order to make implementation of the mission more vibrant and result oriented.
The team sought feedback and inputs from the respective managements for further improvement of their respective programmes and carried out impact assessment of all the interventions so that corrective measures can be taken accordingly.
