Today ABVP announced Jammu University Unit in which Shubham Amar from The Business School was nominated as President and Dyutima Kesar as Secretary. The announcement was made by outgoing President Ravail Parihar who mentioned about the achievements of ABVP Jammu University unit in the previous year in which he mentioned about the Refund about WiFi in which Rs. 500 was refunded to students, Rs. 20000 was given to NET scholars per month. While adressing the students Deepak Gupta said that ABVP has taught for the rights of students from last 70 years he said that ABVP has been continuously working in the field for inculcating the spirit of nationalism amongst the students it is a movement for the nation. He said that students of jammu university must adopt the policy of progressive students working and work for resolving the students problems.
Abhinav Pandotra State University Working Incharge ABVP felicitated the newly nominated office bearers of Jammu University which were announced by Shubham Amar in which Abhishek Law Department, Abhishek Raina from economics department , Aniket Tagotra from SHTM, Ajay Thakur from Education were nominated as Vice Presidents Manik Deshi, Ajay Lakhotra, Chetan Magotra, Mangat from Sanskrit department, Abhishek from Dogri department, Chaitanya Randhawa from Law department were nominated as Joint Secretary Divyansh Aggarwal was nominated as media incharge, Kavin Vyas was nominated as Cashier, Anmol Bijotra from Political Science were nominated as Rashtriya Kala Manch Incharge, Sarthak and Isha Andotra as joint Rashtriya kala Manch , Raghav Choudhary as Study Circle Incharge, Vikas Sharma as SHODH working Incharge Ayush from Law School, Amit from Education, Jagdish from History, Sonia from Education, Chetram from Education , Shashank from Law Department were nominated as Executive Members. Department was incharge were also nominated in which Anmol Gupta and Vishal Chin were made Incharge and Co Incharge of The Law School Respectively, Chandan and Sahil were made Incharge and Co Incharge of Dogri Department, Aman and Surinder Incharge and Co Incharge of Sanskrit , Pankaj and Manish Incharge and Co Incharge of Economics, Himanshu and Sikha Incharge and Co Incharge of Political Science Department, Prashant was made incharge of Library science department, Ashima Mahajan and Kailash Incharge and Co Incharge of SHTM, Pandit was made incharge of MCA , Dileep was made Incharge of Hindi, Sudhanshu was made incharge of English Department, Joginder and Sonika Kaul were made Incharge and Co Incharge of Education Department, Anil and Pooja were made Incharge and Co Incharge of Sociology department, Shyam Sharma and Vikas Incharge and Co Incharge of Law Department Shyam Sharma was given additional charge of Law Faculty and Arts Faculty , Arun Gupta and Vivek were made Incharge and Co Incharge of Physics Department, Kajal and Sanjana were made Incharge and Co Incharge of History Pinku was made Incharge of Urdu Department Abhishek Dutta was made incharge of Botany Department, Nittin Bakshi of Chemistry Department, Urvashi Gupta of Statistics Department. Other department Incharge and Joint Incharge were held withheld for future announcements.
While adressing the media Shubham said that Fresher Party will be organised in Jammu University by ABVP in coming session, seminars will be organised on various social issues, Students election will be our priority issue and fighting for students rights will be our regular activity. Dyutima Kesar said that organisation will be strengthen till classroom level this year.
