Angry over central government decisions about installing toll plaza in sarore Vijaypur Jammu where there is a kind of disaster namely toll plaza as a Diwali gift for Jammu. Addressing media persons, Chairman SYST, Tejinder pal Singh (aman) said Where everyone is facing alt of problems like students are facing problems in attending their classes, exams at time and on other hand locals are in worry due to heavy jams.
As notified by drivers and conductors of local route i.e. from Kathua -Jammu bus drivers are threatened for toll tax and also being slapped by tender authority of toll plaza Aman said, This kind of behavior with general public is unbearable where they are demanding toll tax and beating public on other hand. Heavy rush of vehicles on the toll plaza is also a mesh where chances of accident increases and to cross that toll plaza people it take about 1-2 hours to pass.
It is strictly against the rules of NHAI where they have already fixed a time period to pass a toll plaza if that time limit 4″ exceeds vehicles will pass free of cost and we observed that time taken at that toll plaza is too much and mercilessly beating of public also threats to life can’t be tolerated at any cost. In the end aman said we want Govt. to take necessary action in the favor of public to remove this toll plaza as soon as possible .
