The highly anticipated family romance drama Love, Sitara starring Sobhita Dhulipala, Sonali Kulkarni, and Rajeev Siddhartha, released on the streaming platform ZEE5 on Friday. Fans and critics alike are buzzing with excitement over Sobhita’s portrayal of Tara, an independent interior designer grappling with her beliefs about love and marriage.Sobhita has portrayed characters named Tara twice before, in Made In Heaven and Kaalakaandi, which adds a fun coincidence to her acting journey. Meanwhile, Love, Sitara aims at marking another milestone in Sobhita’s career. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress had opened up about her character in the film wherein she had said, “Sitara is headstrong but also extremely emotional and impulsive as a character, it’s an exciting mix”. Directed by Vandana Kataria and set against the backdrop of a cross-cultural marriage, the film deals with the complexities of modern relationships, dysfunctional families and what it takes to overcome uncomfortable truths.
