The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST-Jammu, Dr. K. S. Risam felicitated the final year under-graduate students of Biotechnology, who have excelled in their project work carried out at various renowned organisations in India. Prof. R. K. Salgotra, Coordinator of School of Biotechnology welcomed the dignitaries and apprised them about the achievements of faculty and students of School of Biotechnology. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor also lauded the research and teaching being carried out in the School of Biotechnology. He also encouraged both teaching faculty and students to strive for excellence. The Hon’ble VC also congratulated Ms. Ritika Gupta, a student of School of Biotechnology, for securing admission to Master’s degree programmes in IIT-Roorkee.
The vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Manmohan Sharma, Assoc. Prof. of School of Biotechnology. The felicitation programme was also attended by Dr. TAS Ganai (Director Education), Dr. D. P. Abrol (Dean, FoA) and all faculty members of School of Biotechnology, SKUAST-Jammu.
