In a ceremony led by Managing Trustee Ms. Neelam Bhalla and Mr. Kunil Bhalla, Director Smile Train Dr Suhael Zahur and attended by medical professionals and staff, the hospital unveiled the mobile unit dedicated to enhancing patient wellbeing. The collaboration between “Smile Train” and “Bee Enn General Hospital” marks a significant milestone in their shared mission to serve communities in need. The newly introduced van motor will serve as a vital asset in facilitating the delivery of healthcare services, workshops to promote health awareness about Babies with cleft Lips and cleft palates in communities and other outreach initiatives to underserved populations across Jammu region.
By combining their expertise and resources, the two organizations aim to address and diagnose the people with issue of cleft lips and cleft palates to allowing them to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives, said Ms. Neelam Bhalla.
Smile Train’s mission is to provide free, safe, and high-quality cleft care for children until every child in need has access to it. They provide training, funding, and resources to local medical professionals in over 70 countries to provide free cleft surgery and other essential cleft care in their communities and Bee Enn General Hospital is playing a major role with extended help to facilitate the NGO and the people in the need of this medical attention.
