Commodore DS Sodhi, NM (Retd), author of the book “Woman of Substantial Character”, accompanied by MS Mehak Kaur Sodhi, Post Graduate in Criminology and Social justice from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, highlighted several issues which are threatening the social fabric of our society at a Press Conference held here today. They further elaborated that these social evils are so numerous that one shudders to think of them. Evil practices like demand and acceptance of the most deep rooted evil, dowry and domestic violence are matters of serious concern, Commodore Sodhi said.
