The incident, which occurred on Friday, has sparked a conversation about road safety and the accountability of delivery personnel working for food delivery platforms. In response to the tweet, Swiggy replied, “Hello Sophie, we sincerely regret this incident and understand how distressing it must be. Safety and accountability are of utmost importance to us.” Now, neither the actress nor the online food ordering and delivery company has shared an update on the matter. On the other hand, netizens were quick to react to the incident. “We understand that delivery partners face immense pressure—late deliveries can mean penalties or earnings loss—but that doesn’t justify reckless behavior on the road,” wrote an X user while the other one read, “I know its his fault but atleast dont ask the swiggy guy to fix your car.”
