In view of forth coming Shivratri Festival , today SP City North Dr. Vinod Kumar, IPS along with Dy SP Headquarters Smt. Sugandha Mahajan and SHO P/S Janipur visited to Aap Shambu Mandir Janipur and took the meeting with the Mandir committee members and other prominent citizens of the area. In the meeting SP City North discussed the security arrangements made in and around the Mandir on the holy occasion. He visited the guards deployed there and examine the proposed plan for crowd management. SP City North directed Police personal deployed for duty to remain extra alert while performing their duties, perform foot patrolling day and night domination and be polite/helping while dealing with pilgrims. He also appealed the general public to: To cooperate with police at frisking points, don’t feel it as harassment by the police. To remain vigilant while travelling in passenger vehicles/crowded areas (especially the worship places).
Don’t touch any abandoned objects.
On seeing any suspicious person/object/material inform the Police immediately.
