Spiritual Satsang and Bhandara was organised here at Sahib Bandgi Sant Ashram, Ranjri on the occasion of Purnima, which is also the birth anniversary of renowned Saint Ravidass ji Maharaj. During the program it was ensured that the coronavirus containment guidelines such as social distancing, use of face masks etc. were strictly followed. There was also proper arrangement for washing and sanitization of hands for the visitors.
During his discourse Satguru Madhu Paramhans ji said that Guru Ravidas ji Maharaj was one of the prominent saints who followed the lineage of Santmat as started by Sant Samrat Satguru Kabir Sahib ji. He said that Kabir Sahib is the first Sant and he is credited to expand the Santmat lineage in India.The Santmat tradition formed the background against which many
modern and medieval sects arose. All the sants that followed essentially preached the same teachings as their original source was what Kabir Sahib has already propagated. All other sants such as Guru Nanak dev ji, Ravidas ji, Dadu Dayal ji etc. have very much declared in their preachings that they are giving the same teaching as given by Kabir Sahib. They do not claim to teach something new or different from what Satguru Kabir Sahib has taught.
Sahib ji said that during the period of Kabir the caste system and untouchability was at its all time high.
However Kabir Sahib refused to acknowledge caste distinction or to recognize the authority of the six schools of philosophy, and stood firmly against the superstition and religious hypocrisy. He held that religion without bhakti was no religion at all, and that ascetics, fasting, and almsgiving has no value if unaccompanied by worship of true Satguru. By means of Dohas, Ramainis, Shabdas, and Sakhis, he imparted religious instruction to Hindus and Mohammadans alike. He had no preference for either religion, but gave teaching that was appreciated by followers of both. He spoke out fearlessly, and never made it his object merely to please his hearers. In his preachings Sahibji cited out that Sadhguru Kabir unlike other divine birth was not born out of mother womb indicating that he was superconscious itself. Sadhguru Kabir was bodyless as at time of leaving this mortal world his followers could only find flowers and no remains indicating his divinity, quite exceptional than others, but people against his preachings has always disgraced him.
