Shri Raghunath ji Mandir Sewa Samitti has welcomed Madam Mehbooba Mufti Chief Minister of J&K State, for sanctioning Rs 5 crore for the development of Raghunath Bazar and also appreciated the steps taken by her for promoting tourist spot such as Zoo at Khanpur Nagrota, starting cable car project from Mubarak Mandi to Bahufort which were very long pending demands of the public.
Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir Sewa Samitti also reminded Madam Mehbooba Mufti of her last one year ago announcement during inauguration of flyover at Vikram Chowk in which she had said that she was keen interested to develop Shri Raghunath Ji Temple on pattern of Shri Golden Temple Amritsar and now the people of Jammu want to know from Chief Minister that what she did in this regard.
The Samiti alleged that all previous State Governments as well as present BJP-PDP led coalition Government are not serious about Hindu religious places which is quite clear from delaying Mandir bill by this government and if Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is really interested to develop Shri Raghunath Ji temple on the pattern of golden temple she should first introduce temple & shrine Bill in next assembly session and once if public board is constituted all the temples will be automatically developed properly as everyone aware about the fact that how much offering made by the devotes but not single penny utilized for the proper benefits of devotees who visit throughout the year to visit historic temples such as Bahu fort temple, Shri Ranbireshwar, Shiv ji temple Purmandal, Penieshwar temple Sudhmahadev, Shri Raghunath ji Temple Suchet ghar and hundreds of other temples managed and under the control of a family who is treating and using its funds for personal prosperity least caring about development of temples.
Rajiv Mahajan President & Th.Karnail Chand General Secretary of the Samitti strongly demanded from State Government to introduce temple bill in next assembly session and constitute public board for the temples under Dharmarth trust for proper development of temples and for protection of its property.
