A secretariat Gherao rally was conducted on today which 2018 started from press club exhibition ground ,Jammu and moved towards the secretariat and gheroad the secretariat under the leadership of Sh. Dev Raj Bali president VRS union. In the said rally slogans were raised against the transport higher authority and J&K SRTC management.
They further demanded cost of leaving allowance (COLA) arrear billing Rs.16,76,49,497.00. during this long spell of 8 years of struggle 39 VRS/GHS breathed their last as they could not afford medical treatment for want of funds and their families suffered an irreparable losses, he added.
He fruther demanded 6th pay commission arrears w.e.f.1st Jan .2006, cost of living allowance (COLA) arrears since 1999,pension benefits and Bonus @ 8.33% on basic pay .
In the said secretariat Gherao rally among others there were Balwinder singh ,Prem Nath ,Surinder Singh , Mohinder Singh , Shiv Kumar ,B.B Sharma ,Gulshan Singh ,Dwarka Nath ,Suraj Singh and others were also present.
