The SSC Club today bagged the Jammu District Tennis Ball Cricket title beating Young Cricket Club by 14 runs in the final played at Green Play Fields, here.
Earlier, batting first, SSC made 52 runs for six wickets in allotted eight overs, which, in reply, Young Club could not chase and exhausted their quota of overs for 38 runs with three wickets in hand.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Young Club defeated Young Guns by three runs while SSC trounced Green Fields Club by 21 runs.
The title trophies were presented by secretary of Jammu District Association, B K Tikoo. Speaking to the teams, Tikoo said that the state level competition shall be held in the month of December.
