The E-Rickshaw Union of Akhnoor orchestrated a grand Tricolor Rally today, with over 150 e-rickshaw drivers participating in the event.
The rally commenced from the ancient Kameshwar Temple and made its way through key routes, concluding at Nirdosh Chowk. The primary objective of this rally was to spread the message of patriotism and to raise awareness about the significance of Independence Day.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Mohan Lal Bhagat in the esteemed presence of Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Rameshwar Dass Ji.
In his address, SSP Bhagat emphasized the importance of patriotism and national pride.
He highlighted the glorious history of India’s independence as a source of inspiration and urged that this legacy be passed down to future generations. Furthermore, he advised the drivers to carry out their duties with responsibility and integrity, ensuring the safety of their passengers.
The rally was led by the President of the E-Rickshaw Union, Amit Gupta, who expressed his gratitude to all participants for making the event a success. He remarked that such rallies play a crucial role in strengthening the spirit of patriotism within the community. This rally emerged as a symbol of national unity and brotherhood in Akhnoor, leaving a lasting impression on all who took part.
Among those present at the rally were prominent figures including Bansi Lal Gupta, Sachin Sharma, Yuvi, Rishav Sharma, Pawan, Monu Jamwal, Gulshan Sharma, and Garu Ram. The event culminated at Nirdosh Chowk, where all participants proudly hoisted the Tricolor and raised patriotic slogans, reaffirming their loyalty and respect for the nation.
