JAMMU, Oct 29:
Selected by the J&K Amateur Athletics Association, the 20-member, including an official, team today left for participation in the 34th Junior National Championship scheduled to be held at Ranchi in Uttrakhand from November two to November five.
Before their departure those selected athletes underwent screening conducted by the J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC) at MA Stadium, here.
The screening team was led by Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu, Ravi Singh. Among others present were general secretary of the Association, Sharat Chander and associate secretary, Sarwant Singh Gill.
The Team: Vasu Sapolia, Abhinav Kundal, Rajat Soodan, Abrar Choudhary, Fabian Makhdoomi , Shakir Rashid, Aran Chandel, Karan Chandel, Ummer Hamid, Shubham Singh, Parupakar Singh, Manpreet Singh, Jugraj Singh, Sourab Majotra , Amarjeet Singh, Arya Mahajan, Gunjeet Singh, Gurdeep Singh and Sahil Sanotra.
