The meeting witnessed active participation of state office bearers and members, and focused on strengthening the organisation while addressing pressing issues concerning the teaching community.
The meet also discussed several long-pending and critical problems of teachers. These included early completion of DPC for promotion of teachers to the post of Masters, implementation of a transparent Annual Transfer Drive, and regularisation of In-Charge Lecturers pending since 2014. Serious concern was expressed over the adjustment of surplus Masters, delay in release of GPF of retirees immediately after superannuation, and the demand for earned leave benefits for teachers.

Special focus was laid on accelerating the membership drive, encouraging more teachers and education employees to join the Mahasangh to build a united and powerful platform.
