JAMMU, Dec 28:
State Volleyball contingent (men and women teams) shall leave for participation in the 67th Senior National Volleyball Championship to be held at Chennai from January two to January 10.
Prior to the team announcement, the selected probable underwent nine day coaching camp at MA Stadium President Volleyball Association of J&K, Sidharth Daluja and general secretary, Vijay Kumar Magotra wished the teams for improved performance in the National Championship.
Veena Devi, Sujad Hussain, Mohd Tariq, Aashiq Hussain and Shubham Sharma accompanying the teams as officials (manager and coaches ).
Meanwhile, as per the Association CEO, Kuldeep Mangotra, J&K Men team has been placed in Pool-C Gujarat, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Telgana being other sides.
Similarly, the State Women team shall take on Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Jharkhand in group-C.
Earlier, the J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC) officials, Abdul Qayoom (Chief Sports Officer) and Ravi Singh (Divisional Sports Officer) conducted the screening and also wished the teams success in the upcoming event.
