Sports Training Centre (STC) Jammu today distributed Sports kits among 79 inmates of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training centre in a Jammu, in a function held at KK Hakku Stadium, here.
Complete sports kit worth Rs, 5000 was given to each of the Residential and Day Boarding inmates of the STC, which included playing kit, game shoes, T- Suit, T- Shirts, towel and kit bag.
Members of the STC Management Committee, Dr SM Bali and Ranjit Kalra, senior coaches of the SAI and Regional centre of the SAI Chandigarh, parents and sports enthusiasts were present.
Dr. SM Bali appreciated the work of the STC Jammu and applauded its efforts towards performance coaching in selected disciplines. Ranjit Kalra appreciated the role of the J&K State Sports Council in supporting the endeavours of the STC for improving sports performance in chosen disciplines.
