Bollywood celebrities never shy away from parties and when it comes to birthdays they always seem prepped up. They are often seen catching up with their industry pals on their birthdays, while many also go on to throw big birthday bashes.
The latest one to celebrate his birthday was none other than Punit Malhotra. Punit, who is directing ‘Student Of The Year 2’ was seen celebrating his special day on the sets of the film. The director, who turned 37 on May 13, was seen celebrating his birthday alongside the lead actors Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, who were seen enjoying the birthday cake and giving a major chunk of the cake to the birthday boy Punit. The celebrations also saw the crew members of ‘SOTY2’ cheering for the director.Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria are currently busy shooting for their upcoming film ‘Student Of The Year 2’ in Mussoorie. The stars are keeping their fans updated by posting pictures from the shoot location.
Recently Ananya Panday shared photos with Tara from the sets. The two are seen bonding over hot chocolate at the hill station.
Earlier Chunky Panday while speaking about his daughter’s debut said that he feels like standing on the roof and shouting.

He further added that this is something which was in the pipeline for almost a year and it pretty much reminds him of the time when he got into films. Recalling his initial days of acting, he said that when he had signed his first film, his family was unaware of it. It was just two days before the muhurat that his parents found out about the movie. He even revealed that he had tears in his eyes after looking at the first posters of Ananya from the film.
‘Student Of The Year 2’ is a sequel to the 2012 romantic comedy, ‘Student Of The Year’. Reports suggest that in the sequel Tara and Ananya will compete against each other to win Tiger’s heart. After wrapping with the Mussoorie schedule the crew will reportedly return to Mumbai and then head to Pune for another month-long schedule. ‘Student Of The Year 2’ is slated to release on November 23, 2018.
