JAMMU, Apr 24:
Submit Grover emerged winner in the senior men’s group in the selection Chess tournament for Jammu Province held under the banner of All J&K Chess Association (AJKCA).
Earlier, it was a tie between Sumit and Soham Kamotra with both securing equal 5.5 points.
However, after tie breaker buckloz rule, Sumit Grover declared winner. Surprise of the event was young Krishna Bral, who got third position.
In the meantime, Kartik Rajvansh won in boys under-13 category title while Amrita Gupta emerged winner in girls same age group.
All the matches were conducted by Vivek Gupta under Swiss system and International chess rules under the supervision of vice president AJKCA, Baldev Raj.
