Indian Army has focused on the youth of the area and has been continuously working towards the betterment of the local populace encompassing the complete spectrum of the population. In order to engage and encourage children of Gujjar & Bakarwals, Indian Army is conducting a Summer School for them. Indian Army has started Summer School in July at Sanjiot, Poonch District. A total of 43 children including girls attended the school. On day four of summer school, children were imparted with basic education. Sports activities were conducted including lemon spoon race, Kho Kho, Football match, running competition, volleyball competition, other interesting games and extra curricular activities during the Summer School. All participants and students were given goodie bags and refreshments were catered. School kids enjoying all the activities and they embraced the efforts of Indian Army with warmth, and were looking forward to for such activities in future.
