POONCH, July 18:
Sunday XI defeated Project XI to advance into the next round of the ongoing Tennis Ball day-night Cricket Tournament, organised by Ehsaas Foundation at BHSS ground, here. Earlier, batting first, Project XI made 70 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 10 overs, which, in reply, Sunday XI chased losing seven wickets.
In this match, Tehsildar Haveli, Shehzad Latief was special guest, who interacted with the teams and encouraged young cricketers. Match was officiated by the technical penal including Vijay Sharma, Sukhpreet Singh, Ankush Sharma and Imran Khan.
Among others present were Narjeet Singh (ZPEO), Narinder Singh (ZPEO), Pawan Sharma (Lecturer), Mohinder Bali, Rajinder Singh (PEM), Narinder Singh (PEM), Matinder Pal Singh and Rajinder Singh (PET).
