Sunny Leone recently reacted to an unfortunate incident in Chattisgarh where a fraudster registered her name as a beneficiary under a government scheme specially designed to provide financial assistance to economically weaker married women. The scheme offered Rs1,000 per month while the registration in Leone’s name was completely fraudulent. The news was discovered when Chhattisgarh officials came across the name of Sunny Leone among the beneficiaries of the scheme with her husband mentioned as “Johnny Sins,” who is an adult film star.Leone took to social media to express her disappointment over the incident. She mentioned that it is unfortunate, and the misuse of schemes, which were intended for the welfare and empowerment of women, was distressing. She turned to Instagram and said, “It is unfortunate to learn about the fraud incident in Chhattisgarh, where my identity/name has been falsely used. It is sad to see a scheme designed to empower and benefit women being misused and misrepresented in this way.” Leone was very strong in her condemnation of the fraudulent act and pledged to stand with the authorities in the investigation of the case.
