Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whose upcoming film Kedarnath features debutante Sara Ali Khan, can’t stop gushing about his young co-star. “Sara is already very talented, and I’ve had a great time working with her. I just hope audiences also enjoy watching us on screen,” he says.
Kedarnath, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, is an intense love story set in rural India. Having wrapped the film up, Sushant is all set to begin working on casting director Mukesh Chabbra’s first film as a director — the Hindi remake of The Fault in Our Stars.Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen alongside Sara Ali Khan in the film Kedarnath. Sara will be making her Bollywood debut with this Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial. The actors have recently finished the shooting of the film which will hit the screens on November 30, 2018. In an interview with Mid Day, Sushant Singh Rajput was all praises for his Kedarnath co-star and her passion reminded him of his early days.
“When I started my Bollywood journey five years back, I was excited about learning new things and showcasing my talent. I saw the same enthusiasm in Sara. Her zest reminded me of my early days. She knows her craft well and is confident about her way ahead. I am sure she will do well,” said Rajput about Sara. This year, Sushant Singh Rajput will be also seen alongside Jacqueline Fernandez in the film Drive. The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and it will hit the screens . On his collaboration with Mukesh for TFIOS, the actor said, “Mukesh gave me my first film; I remember he auditioned me for Kai Po Che (2013). He would often speak about venturing into direction and I used to tell him that I’d love to be a part of his film if he thinks I fit the bill. Luckily, it happened. I am happy for him.” SSR has started prepping for Mukesh Chhabra’s film which will be a remake of Hollywood film The Fault In Our Stars (2014). He will star alongside newbie Sanjana Sanghi in the film.
