Now, after more than a year, his last theatrical release film, Chhichore earned a National Award.The official Twitter handle of the Press Information Bureau shared an announcement of Chhichore winning the prestigious 67th National Film Award in the best Hindi film category. The handle tweeted, ”National Film Award for the best Hindi film goes to Chhichore National Film Awards2019.” Chhichore was a comedy-drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, written by Tiwari, Piyush Gupta, and Nikhil Mehrotra. The film was released on September 6th, 2019, and received critically acclaimed for its direction, acting, social message, and portrayal of hostel life in Indian colleges.
