The Block Development Office, Samwan,District Jammu conducted painting competition and debate competition in Government High Secondary School Upper Pallanwala Block Samwan on the topic of “Swachhata Hi Sewa”.
The students participated with enthusiasm and interest. Many current issues and public themes of relevance were raised by them through their pictures and words.
On this occasion, Ms Sona Gupta (KAS),BDO Samwan emphasized that cleanliness is the responsibility of all the stake holders. And as it is said “Practice makes the man perfect” and this drive will be a success after it is inculcated in our behavior.
The school authorities apprecisted the initiatives and efforts of the staff members of the block office. The pledge was taken to extend full support and cooperation in such social steps of the government.
