In continuance to the Swach Bharat Mission Programme throughout the India, a mission of all round cleanliness lead by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Itself has got yet another pace with a boom to be more practical and precise so as to fulfil the dream of complete sanitation and open defication free.
In this regard Member of Parliament for Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas participated in cleanliness Drive in and around Government Hospital Gandhinagar accompanied by MLA Gandhinagar Kavinder Gupta with other civil volunteers and officials from JMC.
Speaking on the occasion MP Shamsher Singh Manhas said that Swach Bharat Mission has been a historic drive lead by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi itself which has been producing extraordinary results on ground especially in rural areas where open defication and sanitation has been a problem for the years together, we are glad to announce that near about 09 crores of Toliets have been built under the SBM and more than 20 states have been declared as open defication free including Jammu & Kashmir, “he said”.
He further said that the contribution and role of civil societies NGO’s and most importantly the common masses of India who with the keen interest regarding the project has made it as much as successful which is being applauded and appreciated on international platforms throughout the world, “he added”.
