The Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) organisedLecture series on Entrepreneurship to create awareness among students for skilldevelopmenthere today at Sacred College of Education and Kawa College ofEducation Jammu. The programme was held under the leadership of Smt.Anita Sharma, Mahila Pramukh of SJM, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh under the aegisof Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyaan movement, UdyamitaProtsahanSammelan.
The motiveof programme is to encourage and inculcate a culture of entrepreneurship amongstudents which is being held from August 21 to October 2, 2024 throughout thecountry.While speaking, Anita Sharma highlighted theimportance of Swadeshi products andcontribution of domestic products towardsthe economy of the country. She emphasised the Government efforts to make self-reliantIndia and generated employment by adopting Swadeshi products. She lauded thewomen’s contribution towards welfare of the society and laid stress on theirconfidence besides facing challenges without fear.Ms Deepali Handa, Dr Nidhi Pathania andAdvocate Shakti Ranainteracted and created awareness among the students aboutvarious sectors of Entrepreneurship. They laid stress on skill development andmotivated them towards entrepreneurship. Both the guests appealed the studentsto set an example for others by taking the benefits of different schemes run byGovernment for young entrepreneurs. The College Management of both the Colleges laudedthe efforts of Swadeshi Jagran Manch and its contribution towards the societyfor organising such programmes for the betterment of society while promotingentrepreneurship and skill development.Large number of students including facultymembers attended the lecture series by showing keen interest and cleared theirvarious queries during the interactive session.
