Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has set the stage for the debut of actor Suniel Shetty‘s son Ahan Shetty. The producer is launching the debutant in the official Hindi remake of Telugu action-drama RX 100. The film is being helmed by Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai director Milan Luthria. As reported by a daily, the female lead opposite Ahan has also been finalised and it’s none other than the new ‘student’ in B’town, Tara Sutaria. DNA has reported that the makers want to introduce Ahan and Tara as a stylish Bollywood pair and the preparations have begun. The daily even quoted the director confirming the news. Milan revealed, “The right casting is critical, especially, in a debut film. Sajid and I took our time to cast the lead opposite Ahan. We’re glad we waited as Tara is the apt choice for an important role. It is essential for the leads to have crackling chemistry, which both of them do.” Unlike her character in Dharma Productions’ Student Of The Year 2, which is going to appeal to the teenagers and youngsters, Tara’s role in RX 100 is quite layered. A source close to the development told the daily, “Tara Sutaria has been signed on to play Ahan’s love interest in the film. Milan met Tara and felt she was apt for the role. The role is exciting and intense with shades of grey. When she got to know how layered her character was, she agreed to come on board.” Meanwhile, Ahan has been working on his physique to fit into his role and Tara is currently busy with the work on her two upcoming films – Student Of The Year 2 and Marjawan.
While Ahan plays the character of a well-behaved, suave young man from a small town, Tara essays the role of a politician’s daughter who pretends to have fallen in love with the man purely out of lust.
