Team Jammu, ARGS India hold Medical Camp

JAMMU, FEB 17:
Team Jammu along with ARGS India and supported by Sanyog Pharmacy, organized a free health check-up camp here at Oldage Home, Ambphalla Jammu.
As per the release, during the camp, around 50 senior citizens putting up in Oldage Home were examined by a team of doctors headed by Dr S K Bali, Head of the Department, Nephrology Department, Super Specialty Hospital Jammu, Dr Surinder Sodhi Senior Resident Department Nephrology and other doctors.
The team of doctors found that most of the senior citizens living in Oldage Home were either BP patients, diabetic or suffering with other ailments.
After examining them (Senior Citizens), the team of doctors led by Dr SK Bali gave them a brief overview of the diseases they are suffering with and also educated them about certain health tips.
Later, free medicines were also distributed among the Oldage Home dwellers.
Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal regretted about the circumstance due to which the senior citizens have to leave their houses and live in oldage homes.
He said, “It is very painful that the modern day generation is forcing their elders live in such Oldage homes.”
He said, “Team Jammu has always helped the needy people and contributed for social causes and it will always do so in nearing future.”
He also sought cooperation from various social groups and NGOs to come forward and help such people who have been neglected by their own wards.
Mr Divyashish Jamwal Vice President Sanyog Pharmacy Jammu , said that under CSR, Sanyog Pharmacy has been conducting such programmes for the past some years and will organize similar programmes in the years to come.
