In Jammu east the celebrations were led by the former MLA Rajesh Gupta. Functions were observed in ward no 3 and 4 by the Link Road Traders Association where members of the association expressed their great jubilation on the victory of Narinder Bhai Modi in the parliamentary elections. People danced to the tunes of Dhol and even members of the general public joined in the celebrations.
At Kanak Mandi victory celebrations were held in ward no-11 and ward no-15. The programme was organized by Kanak Mandi Traders Association. Members hailed the extraordinary leadership of the Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi and the National President Amit Shah Ji in taking BJP to historic heights.
Celebrations at Pacca Danga and Moti Bazaar were held in ward no. 10 and ward no.4.The historic mandate of the party was celebrated with the distribution of sweets and dance over the dhols.
At Raghunath Bazaar the celebrations were observed in ward no.15 and ward no. 11 where sweets were distributed accompanied by the dhol and dance.
Celebrations reached a cresando at Julaka Mohalla and Pacci Dhakkii in ward no2 area where party workers raised the slogans In favour of the PM Shri Narinder Bhai Modi and non stop jubilation and dancing went on till late in the night over DJ.
Very high pitch celebrations were also observed at Panjtirthi in ward no1. that went late in the night with dancing over the beats of Dhol and DJ.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking at the various venues said that the mandate received by the BJP is truly historic and reflects the trust and confidence that our dear leader enjoys with the masses of this great country.
